- Kirby Cucumbers 2 Lbs
- White Vinegar 2 Cups
- Granulated Sugar 1.5 Cups
- Canned Jalapenos With Juice 1/2 Cup
- Fresh Garlic 4 Cloves
- Mustard Seeds 1 Tbsp
- Celery Seeds 1 Tsp
- Turmeric 1/2 Tsp
- Kosher Salt 1 Tbsp
Wash your cucumbers very well in cold water. Cut off the ends of each cucumber. Slice them into rounds about half-inch thick.
Pack the cucumber slices into your glass jar. Add the sliced jalapenos and garlic cloves now. Leave a little space at the top.
Place the vinegar, sugar, and spices in the pan. Heat the mixture over a medium flame. Stir it until the sugar fully disappears.
Pour the hot brine over the cucumbers carefully. Make sure the liquid covers every single slice. Use a spoon to push them down.
Let the jar cool on the counter first. Put the lid on very tight after cooling. Place the jar in the back of your fridge.
