- Natural Peanut Butter 1 Cup
- Maple Syrup 1/4 Cup
- Coconut Flour 1/3 Cup
- Vanilla Extract 1 Tsp
- Dark Chocolate Chips 1/2 Cup
- Coconut Oil 1 Tsp
Mix peanut butter and maple syrup. Use your large mixing bowl. Stir them until they are smooth. Add the vanilla extract now. This creates a wet base.
Add the coconut flour slowly. Stir it into the wet mix. The dough will become thick. It should not be sticky. You want a firm dough.
Scoop small bits of dough. Roll them into round balls. Use your hands for this. Place them on the baking sheet. Keep them in even rows.
Put the tray in the freezer. Let them chill for thirty minutes. They need to be firm. This helps the chocolate stick. Cold balls dip much better.
Melt the chocolate and oil. Use the microwave-safe bowl. Heat it in short bursts. Stir the chocolate every few seconds. It should be very smooth.
Poke a ball with a toothpick. Dip it into the chocolate. Leave the top part bare. This makes it look like a nut. Repeat for all the balls.
Freeze the balls again quickly. Wait for fifteen more minutes. The chocolate must be hard. Smooth the toothpick holes shut. Now they are ready.
- Use creamy peanut butter always.
- This makes the texture smooth.
- Chill the dough very well.
- It prevents the balls from melting.
- Sift your coconut flour first.
- This removes all the lumps.
- Use high quality dark chocolate.
- It tastes much better.
