Long Spoon
- Shots Espresso 2
- Brown Sugar 2 Tbsp
- Cinnamon 1/2 Tsp
- Ice Cubes 1 Cup
- Oat Milk 3/4 Cup
- Vanilla Extract 1/4 Tsp
Brew two fresh shots of strong espresso. Pour the hot coffee into a small jar. This will be the base of your drink. Do not let it sit for too long.
Add the brown sugar to the hot coffee. Add a pinch of ground cinnamon now. Stir the mixture until the sugar melts. The heat helps the sugar dissolve fast. This creates a sweet coffee syrup.
Fill a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice. Pour the coffee mixture over the ice. Close the lid very tightly. Shake the jar hard for twenty seconds. This creates the signature bubbly foam.
Fill a clean tall glass with fresh ice. Strain the shaken espresso into the glass. Leave some room at the top. The foam should look light and thick.
Pour the cold oat milk over the coffee. Watch the milk swirl into the espresso. Do not stir it too much. This creates a beautiful layered look. Serve it immediately while very cold.
- Use dark brown sugar for a deeper caramel taste.
- Always shake the coffee while it is still warm.
- Use extra creamy oat milk for the best texture.
- Make sure to shake for at least twenty seconds.
- Double the espresso shots if you want more caffeine.
