Ingredients
  

  • UNSALTED BUTTER 1 cup
  • GRANULATED SUGAR 2 cups
  • EXTRA LARGE EGGS 3
  • SOUR CREAM 1 cup
  • VANILLA EXTRACT 1 tbsp
  • ALL PURPOSE FLOUR 2.5 cups
  • BAKING POWDER 1 tsp
  • KOSHER SALT 1/2 tsp
  • CHOCOLATE CHIPS 1/2 cup
  • INSTANT COFFEE 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Cream the Butter: Mix the butter and sugar until very light.

  • Mix Dry Ingredients: Sift the flour, powder, and salt together.
  • Combine Everything: Add flour and sour cream to the butter.
  • Melt the Chocolate: Heat the chocolate and coffee until smooth.
  • Flavor the Batter: Divide the batter into two separate bowls.
  • Add Chocolate: Stir the melted chocolate into one bowl.
  • Layer the Pan: Scoop vanilla and chocolate batter into the pan.
