Cutting Board
- Sweetened Condensed Milk 1 can
- Cold Whole Milk 1.5 cups
- Instant Vanilla Pudding 1 box
- Heavy Whipping Cream 2 cups
- Vanilla Extract 1 tsp
- Vanilla Wafer Cookies 1 box
- Large Ripe Bananas 4
- Powdered Sugar 2 tbsp
Combine the milk and condensed milk first. Add the instant pudding mix slowly. Whisk it until it is very smooth. Let it sit for five minutes. This helps the pudding get firm.
Pour cold cream into a large bowl. Add vanilla and a little sugar. Use your mixer on high speed. Beat until stiff peaks start to form. This makes the pudding very light.
Gently add the whipped cream to pudding. Use a spatula for this step. Do not stir too hard or fast. You want to keep the air inside. It should look very fluffy now.
Grab your glass dish or trifle bowl. Place cookies at the very bottom. Make sure they cover the whole base. This acts as the dessert's crust.
Slice your bananas into thin, round coins. Place them on top of the cookies. Use plenty of fruit for best flavor. Make sure the layer is even.
Pour half of the pudding over bananas. Spread it out to the very edges. This seals the fruit from the air. It keeps the bananas from turning brown.
Add another layer of cookies and fruit. Top it with the rest of the pudding. Smooth the top with your spatula. Add crushed cookies on the very top.
Put the dish in the fridge. Let it set for three hours. This softens the cookies just right. Serve it cold to your happy guests.
➔ Use cold heavy cream for the best peaks.
➔ Choose bananas with small brown spots for sweetness.
➔ Let the pudding set fully before adding cream.
➔ Do not over-mix the whipped cream into pudding.
➔ Chill for at least four hours for softness.
➔ Dip bananas in lemon juice to prevent browning.
➔ Use high-quality vanilla for a better scent.
➔ Layer cookies tightly to avoid big gaps.
➔ Serve in clear glass to show the beauty.
➔ Use a serrated knife for clean banana slices.
