Glass Jar
- Mayonnaise 1 Cup
- Sour Cream 1/2 Cup
- Buttermilk 1/4 Cup
- Blue Cheese Crumbles 4 Oz
- Lemon Juice 1 Tsp
- White Vinegar 1 Tsp
- Garlic Powder 1/2 Tsp
- Onion Powder 1/4 Tsp
- Salt 1/4 Tsp
- Black Pepper 1/4 Tsp
Whisk the mayonnaise and sour cream in your bowl. Make sure they are perfectly smooth and combined.
Slowly pour in the buttermilk and lemon juice. Keep whisking until the mixture looks like heavy silk.
Add the vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder now. Stir well so the spices spread out evenly.
Fold in the blue cheese crumbles very gently. You want to keep those delicious chunks big and visible.
Taste your dressing and add salt and pepper. Adjust the seasoning to fit your personal preference.
Cover the bowl and put it in the fridge. Let it sit for at least four hours today.
- Use fresh blue cheese for the best bold flavor.
- Chill the dressing for a few hours before serving.
- Add more buttermilk if you want a thinner sauce.
- Do not over-mix once you add the cheese chunks.
- Always use full-fat dairy for a restaurant-style taste.
- Crush the cheese by hand for rustic, uneven pieces.
- Taste the dressing before adding any extra table salt.
- Store the dressing in the back of the fridge.
