Saucepan
- Unsalted Butter 1/2 Cup
- Granulated Sugar 1 Cup
- Cocoa Powder 3/4 Cup
- Large Eggs 2
- Vanilla Extract 1 Tsp
- All-purpose Flour 1/2 Cup
- Salt 1/4 Tsp
- Chocolate Chips 1/2 Cup
Start by heating your oven to 350 degrees. Line your baking pan with some parchment paper. Leave a little paper hanging over the edges.
Place your butter in a small saucepan. Heat it over low heat until it melts. Do not let the butter turn brown or burn.
Whisk the sugar and cocoa powder together. Pour the warm melted butter into this mixture. Stir it well until the mix looks very smooth.
Whisk in your eggs one at a time. Make sure each egg is fully mixed in. Add the vanilla extract and stir it again.
Add the flour and salt to the bowl. Use a spatula to fold the flour in gently. Stop mixing as soon as the white streaks vanish.
Toss in your chocolate chips if you want them. Stir them once or twice to spread them out.
Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan. Smooth the top with your spatula. Bake for about thirty to thirty-five minutes.
Take the pan out of the oven carefully. Let them cool completely on a wire rack. Lift the paper to remove and cut them.
➡️ Use room temperature eggs for a smoother batter.
➡️ Do not overmix the flour to keep them soft.
➡️ Measure your flour using the spoon and level way.
➡️ Use high-quality cocoa powder for the best flavor.
➡️ Line the pan so you can lift them out.
➡️ Check them early so they do not get dry.
➡️ Let them cool fully before you try to cut.
➡️ Add a pinch of sea salt on the top.
