Ingredients
  

  • Unsalted Butter 1/2 Cup
  • Granulated Sugar 1 Cup
  • Cocoa Powder 3/4 Cup
  • Large Eggs 2
  • Vanilla Extract 1 Tsp
  • All-purpose Flour 1/2 Cup
  • Salt 1/4 Tsp
  • Chocolate Chips 1/2 Cup

Instructions
 

  • Start by heating your oven to 350 degrees. Line your baking pan with some parchment paper. Leave a little paper hanging over the edges.
  • Place your butter in a small saucepan. Heat it over low heat until it melts. Do not let the butter turn brown or burn.
  • Whisk the sugar and cocoa powder together. Pour the warm melted butter into this mixture. Stir it well until the mix looks very smooth.
  • Whisk in your eggs one at a time. Make sure each egg is fully mixed in. Add the vanilla extract and stir it again.
  • Add the flour and salt to the bowl. Use a spatula to fold the flour in gently. Stop mixing as soon as the white streaks vanish.
  • Toss in your chocolate chips if you want them. Stir them once or twice to spread them out.
  • Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan. Smooth the top with your spatula. Bake for about thirty to thirty-five minutes.
  • Take the pan out of the oven carefully. Let them cool completely on a wire rack. Lift the paper to remove and cut them.
