Small Serving Bowl
Plastic Wrap
- Stilton Cheese 200 g
- Cream Cheese 150 g
- Sour Cream 2 Tbsp
- Fresh Chives 1 Tbsp
- Black Pepper 1/2 Tsp
- Garlic Powder 1/4 Tsp
Place your cheese out of the fridge early. Let it sit at room temperature for thirty minutes. This makes the cheese much softer to mix well.
Crumble the Stilton cheese into your large mixing bowl. Use a fork to break up any large chunks. You want small bits for a great texture.
Add the cream cheese and sour cream next. Turn on your electric mixer to a low speed. Mix until the base is very smooth and white.
Fold in the chopped chives and the black pepper. Use your rubber spatula for this part very gently. Do not overmix the green herbs into it.
Taste a small bit of the dip right now. Add more pepper or garlic powder if you like. Ensure it tastes exactly how you want it today.
Transfer the dip into your small serving bowl. Smooth the top with the back of a spoon. It is now ready for the final chilling step.
Cover the bowl tightly with your clear plastic wrap. Place it in the fridge for one hour minimum. This helps the flavors blend together perfectly now.
- Use high-quality Stilton for the best possible flavor today.
- Make sure the cream cheese is very soft before mixing.
- Chill the dip for at least one full hour.
- Chop the chives very finely for a better look.
- Add a splash of milk if it is too thick.
