- SPAGHETTI NOODLES 1 lb
- GROUND BEEF 1 lb
- medium ONION 1
- small GREEN BELL PEPPER 1
- GARLIC 2 cloves
- can DICED TOMATOES 1
- can TOMATO SAUCE 1
- ITALIAN SEASONING 1 tsp
- SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE 2 cups
- MONTEREY JACK CHEESE 1 cup
- BUTTER 2 tbsp
- SALT 1 tsp
- BLACK PEPPER 1/2 tsp
Boil the Pasta. Cook the noodles in salty water. Keep them firm.
Brown the Meat. Cook the beef in a hot skillet. Drain the fat.
Sauté the Veggies. Add onions and peppers to the meat. Cook until soft.
Make the Sauce. Stir in tomatoes and tomato paste. Let it simmer.
Mix It Up. Combine the noodles with the meat sauce. Add butter.
Layer the Dish. Put half the pasta in the pan. Add cheese.
Repeat Layers. Add the rest of the pasta. Top with more cheese.
Bake the Meal. Put it in the oven until bubbly. The cheese should melt.
