- Old Fashioned Oats 1 cup
- Creamy Peanut Butter 2/3 cup
- Mini Chocolate Chips 1/2 cup
- Ground Flaxseeds 1/2 cup
- Honey 1/2 cup
- Chia Seeds 1 tbsp
- Vanilla Extract 1 tsp
- Salt 1/4 tsp
Mix the Dry Ingredients: Put oats and seeds in the bowl. Add the salt and chocolate chips now. Stir them until they are well mixed.
Add the Wet Ingredients: Pour in the peanut butter and honey. Add the vanilla extract to the bowl too. This makes the mixture very sticky.
Stir Everything Together: Use your spatula to mix it well. Ensure every oat is coated in peanut butter. The dough should feel heavy and thick.
Chill the Dough: Place the bowl in the fridge. Let it sit for thirty minutes total. This makes rolling the balls much easier.
Roll into Balls: Use your hands to form small balls. Aim for about one inch in size. Press them firmly so they stay round.
Set the Bites: Place them on the prepared baking sheet. Let them firm up in the fridge again. They are now ready to eat.
➔ Use wet hands to roll the sticky dough.
➔ Press the mixture firmly to prevent crumbling later.
➔ Add more oats if the dough feels wet.
➔ Use creamy peanut butter for the best texture.
➔ Pulse oats in a blender for smoother bites.
➔ Keep the honey at room temperature for mixing.
➔ Chill the dough long enough before rolling it.
➔ Use mini chips to ensure even chocolate distribution.
