- Frozen Pineapple 1 1/2 Cups
- Fresh Ginger 1/2 Inch
- Ground Turmeric 1/2 Tsp
- Coconut Milk 1 Cup
- Medium Banana 1
- Black Pepper 1 Pinch
- Honey Optional 1 Tsp
Cut your pineapple and banana into small chunks. Make sure the pineapple is frozen for thickness. Peel the skin off your fresh ginger root.
Pour the coconut milk into your blender jar. Adding liquid first helps the blades spin better. This prevents the blender from getting stuck.
Place the pineapple, banana, and ginger into the blender. Add the turmeric powder and the black pepper. Put the lid on the blender very tightly.
Turn the blender on a low speed first. Slowly increase the speed to high for one minute. Blend until you see no more fruit chunks.
Stop the blender and taste a small spoonful. Add honey if you want it more sweet. Pour the golden drink into a tall glass.
- Use frozen fruit to keep the drink cold.
- Add more milk if the mixture is too thick.
- Peel ginger with a spoon for easy skin removal.
- Always add a pinch of black pepper with turmeric.
- Drink it immediately for the best frosty texture.
- Use a very ripe banana for the best sweetness.
- Blend for a full minute for maximum creaminess.
