Ingredients
  

  • Frozen Pineapple 1 1/2 Cups
  • Fresh Ginger 1/2 Inch
  • Ground Turmeric 1/2 Tsp
  • Coconut Milk 1 Cup
  • Medium Banana 1
  • Black Pepper 1 Pinch
  • Honey Optional 1 Tsp

Instructions
 

  • Cut your pineapple and banana into small chunks. Make sure the pineapple is frozen for thickness. Peel the skin off your fresh ginger root.
  • Pour the coconut milk into your blender jar. Adding liquid first helps the blades spin better. This prevents the blender from getting stuck.
  • Place the pineapple, banana, and ginger into the blender. Add the turmeric powder and the black pepper. Put the lid on the blender very tightly.
  • Turn the blender on a low speed first. Slowly increase the speed to high for one minute. Blend until you see no more fruit chunks.
  • Stop the blender and taste a small spoonful. Add honey if you want it more sweet. Pour the golden drink into a tall glass.

Notes

  • Use frozen fruit to keep the drink cold.
  • Add more milk if the mixture is too thick.
  • Peel ginger with a spoon for easy skin removal.
  • Always add a pinch of black pepper with turmeric.
