Ingredients
  

  • Pistachios Shelled 2 Cups
  • Sea Salt 1/4 Tsp
  • Honey Optional 1 Tsp
  • Vanilla Extract 1/2 Tsp
  • Coconut Oil If Needed 1 Tsp

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Nuts: Start by shelling your fresh pistachios. Make sure they are dry and clean.
  • Roast for Flavor: Place nuts on a flat baking tray. Toast them at low heat for five minutes.
  • Cool the Nuts: Let the nuts sit for a moment. Warm nuts blend better than cold ones do.
  • Start Blending: Put the nuts into your food processor. Turn the machine on a high setting.
  • Watch the Stages: The nuts will turn into a powder. Then they will become a thick paste.
  • Scrape the Sides: Stop the machine every few minutes. Push the bits down with your spatula.
  • Add the Seasoning: Pour in your salt and vanilla now. Add honey if you want it sweet.
  • Final Blend: Run the processor until it is smooth. This may take about ten minutes total.
  • Check Consistency: Add a drop of oil if needed. Blend one last time for a silky finish.
