- Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 Cup
- Fresh Lemon Juice 1/4 Cup
- Fresh Garlic 1 Clove
- Dried Oregano 1/2 Tsp
- Sea Salt 1/4 Tsp
- Black Pepper 1/8 Tsp
Prepare the fresh lemon juice. Cut your lemons in half on a board. Use your squeezer to get the juice. Pour it into your clean glass jar. Ensure no seeds fall into the liquid.
Add the herbs and spices. Measure your salt and dried oregano now. Add the black pepper to the jar. Peel and crush your garlic clove finely. Drop the garlic into the lemon juice.
Pour in the olive oil. Measure the olive oil very carefully now. Pour it slowly over the lemon juice. The oil will sit on the top. It looks like two beautiful liquid layers.
Shake or whisk the mixture. Close the lid of the jar tightly. Shake it hard for thirty seconds. The liquids will combine into one sauce. It should look slightly thick and creamy.
