Equipment

  • Large Wok
  • Sharp knife
  • Large pot
  • Tongs or Spatula
  • Small bowl

Ingredients

  • Egg Noodles 250 g
  • Large Chicken Breasts 2
  • Soy Sauce 2 Tbsp
  • Sesame Oil 1 Tbsp
  • Fresh Ginger 1 Inch
  • Garlic 2 Cloves
  • Bean Sprouts 100 g
  • Bunch Spring Onions 1
  • Vegetable Oil 1 Tbsp

Instructions

  • Boil water in your large pot now. Add the noodles and cook until soft. Drain them and set them aside carefully.
  • Place your wok on very high heat. Add a splash of oil to the pan. Wait until the oil starts to smoke.
  • Add the chicken strips to the hot oil. Stir-fry them until they are golden brown. Remove the meat and keep it warm.
  • Toss in the garlic and fresh ginger. Stir them for only thirty seconds now. Do not let them burn or turn black.
  • Throw in the sliced peppers and onions. Cook them until they are slightly soft. They should still have a little bite.
  • Put the noodles and chicken back in. Pour the mixed sauce over the whole pan. Toss everything together to coat well.
  • Add the bean sprouts and spring onions. Stir for one more minute and serve. Enjoy your hot and fresh meal immediately.

Notes

  • Use high heat for the best smoky flavor.
  • Prep all ingredients before you start the stove.
  • Do not overcook the noodles in the water.
  • Keep the food moving to prevent any sticking.
  • Use fresh ginger instead of the dried powder.
